1969 Fender Mustang Competition Red
Here is a Collector Clean and Original 1969 Fender Mustang in Competition Red with Matching Headstock. Not only is this a clean example but it also has a Super Cool original factory installed 1965 dated Slab Fingerboard Neck. In the late 1960s Fender started to use up their left over back stock of parts. Instruments like the Swinger and Maverick were attempts to use up these parts. This December 1965 dated neck was obviously left over and used for this instrument. It got a Matching Headstock Candy Apple Red Finish. The original Kluson pilot holes can be seen under the tuners with the lower visible factory filled. The guitar features the signature Competition Racing Stripe on the Body, Two Single Coil Pickups, Pearloid Pickguard, Tremolo, 1966 Dated Pots, and a Large Rounded Neck Profile (.87" 1st fret to .90" 12th fret). Nice and Light weight at 6.95 Pounds. The guitar is in remarkable "Under the Bed" cosmetic condition. It has some small dings and scratches but is overall very tidy. A Fender Coronado II in Rare Factory Sonic Blue Finish. The Finish has naturally aged with some greening to an awesome color. Dual Pickups, Tremolo, Bound Rosewood Fingerboard with Block Inlays, and F Tuners. Very Good Vintage condition displaying nicks, dings, and finish checking. Here is a gorgeous 1976 Fender Starcaster. Semi Hollow Body Construction, Sunburst Finish over a Figured Maple Body, Maple Neck, Two Great Cunife Wide Range Fender Humbucking Pickups, and Chrome Hardware. A nice complete original example in Very Good Plus Vintage Condition displaying some nicks, dings, and signs of use. Included is the Original Black Tolex Hardshell Case with Orange Lining displaying some wear and tear. Comfortable Rounded Neck Profile with its original frets. 1968 Fender Telecaster Custom Double Bound Factory Bigsby with Hang Tag
A beautiful Telecaster Custom. Rare Factory Bigsby model, Double Bound Body, Sunburst Finish, Nitro Finish, Cloth Wiring, May 1968 Neck Date, and Rosewood Fingerboard. Included is the original hardshell case, Owners Manual with Matching Serial Number, and bridge cover. A very comfortable 8 pound weight. It has SB hand written in the bridge pickup cavity noting the Sunburst Finish. Along the neck pickup channel route is stamped "666". This was a code we have seen on several other 1968 Tele Customs with Factory Bigsbys and was a Factory code used to designate the unique body build of a Double Bound and Bigsby body. Rare Original Transparent Blonde Finish over a nicely grained Ash Body, Two Original Fender Wide Range Pickups, Featherweight at 6 1/2 Pounds, and a Large Rounded One Piece Maple Neck with a 1st fret depth of .90" and 12th fret depth of .95". 1983 Fender Telecaster Walnut Elite
For your consideration is a Rare 1983 Fender Telecaster Walnut Elite. This Striking Guitar was the Pinnacle of the Fender Line in 1983. The guitar is constructed using Beautiful American Black Walnut Body and Neck, Top Binding, Ebony Fingerboard, Gold Hardware, Dual Pickups, TBX Tone Control and Mid Range Tone Control. The Walnut on this one is quite Eye Catching with some great figuring. Included is the Original Fender "Voyagair" Deluxe Case, Original Fender Price List Catalog (Walnut Elite List Price of $1199) and a Couple Old Fender String Envelopes. Very Good Plus Vintage Condition with some some small dings and surface scratches. The worst ding on the bass side top body edge looks like it might have had a small spot of touch up. 1970 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst
A 1970 Fender Stratocaster in Factory Sunburst Finish. 4 Bolt Construction, Bold Synchronized Tremolo Headstock Logo, 7 1/2 Pound Weight, Pearloid Back Pickguard, 1970 Ink Date Stamped Pickups, and Three Way Switch Still Intact. This is an early 1970 with pots dated the 2nd week of 1970 and still with Rounded Pickup Body Routes before they were changed to squared off corners later in the year. The top has naturally faded to a cool Two tone style Sunburst Finish. Very Good Vintage Condition with lots of small nicks and scratches. All Original Parts with untouched electronics. There appears to be a few small fingerboard fills in the cowboy chord area. Included is the Fender Hardshell Case and Original Fender Hang Tag with Matching Serial Number. 1982 / 83 Fender Stratocaster 57 Reissue Fullerton Sunburst
Here is an Early USA 57 Reissue Fender Stratocaster from the Fullerton, CA Fender Factory. The guitar features an 8-13-82 Pencil Dated Neck with a Comfortable Soft V Profile that these early Fullerton Reissues are known for. The Two Tone Sunburst Finished body has a January 1983 Date Stamp in the Tremolo Cavity and the signature thin Fullerton Body Contours. A Single Ply Pickguard is intact with Three Single Coil Pickups and 1982 Dated Pots. The guitar was owned by a local blues player and had been worked on by guitar and amp tech Cesar Diaz of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bob Dylan, and Diaz Amp fame. The Tremolo Back Plate has Cesar's Signature on the underside for a very cool historical addition. Some player friendly changes have been made including a 5 way switch with some touched solder joints and a professionally refret with new nut. There is evidence of other tuners once being installed on the neck. The guitar is in Very Good Vintage Condition displaying honest play wear with lots of nicks, dings, and scratches. An extra strap button hole is present on the treble side horn. The guitar plays well and at 7.35 pounds is very comfortable. Included is the Original Tweed Case and Tremolo Arm. OHSC $3895

1990 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster 57 Reissue Left handed Sunburst with Case Candy
Here is a Unique Custom Ordered 1990 Fender Custom Shop 57 Reissue Stratocaster. Not only was the guitar special ordered in Left Handed orientation but with a Custom Gibson Style Large C Neck Profile. The neck has a Gibson style 1 11/16" nut width, 1st fret depth of .87", and a 12th fret depth of .95". Other features of the guitar include a Two Tone Sunburst Finish, One Piece Maple Neck, 2-28-90 Neck Date, Early Artist Palette Style Fender Custom Shop Logos, Spaghetti Headstock Logo, Single Ply Pickguard, and Three Single Coil Pickups with Cloth Leads. Very Good Plus Used condition with some small nicks, dings, and scratches. Included is the worn Tweed Case and lots of Case Candy with the Owners Manual, Optional 5 way switch, Polishing Cloth, and Paperwork. 2003 Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop Relic NOS 69 Reissue Olympic White
A 2003 Fender Stratocaster 69 Reissue Custom Shop NOS Relic. Aged Olympic White Finish, Maple Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard, Bold Synchronized Tremolo 69 Headstock Logo, Three Gray Bobbin Pickups, 5 Way Switch, December 2002 dated Body with Correct 69 NOS stampings, and a February 2003 dated Neck. A very comfortable Larger Rounded Neck Profile with a 1 21/32" Nut Width, .85" 1st fret depth, and .94" 12th fret depth. Good Used Condition with some nicks and dings. A few finish blemishes on the lower back of the body from a guitar stand and a hole from an extra strap button. In the 1940s Fender’s original prototype instruments were fashioned from pine and now, with the 2017 Limited Edition American Vintage ’59 Pine Stratocaster they have come full circle. This body wood began its functional life over 100 years ago, as part of the Buckstaff Furniture Company’s facility in Oshkosh, WI before it was reclaimed, cooked and fashioned into an instrument. The grain, knotholes and man-made imperfections make each one unique.
